Stove 2.0
After building my first stove from a gas cylinder I had a taste for it and I also wanted to make something that I have not seen yet...

A gas cylinder stove with sliding doors ... I took this idea a bit from my indoor stove, a Harry Leenders HL6.

I want 1 closed door that slides to the left and a mesh door that slides to the right. This allows the stove to open, half open and close...
Sliding rails
The rails in which the doors come in are made up of a narrow strip, with a wider strip over it, so that a slot is created. Both strips (top and bottom) must be welded exactly straight to the stove, otherwise the doors will not slide through properly.

Cooker
Since the 1.0 version of the stove showed that the top did not get hot enough to cook properly, I ground the top of the gas bottle with the 2.0 version. The hole is made to measure exactly from the bottom of a small gas tank, (I had previously cut this from the gas tank). I made the bottom (upside down) exactly and welded it, so that there is a nice edge on the top (first photo). A thick steel plate is placed on the hole. (second photo).
Sliding doors
When heating the stove, often ask how you want to burn ...
Open fire, With closed door, With grid door ...
With this stove you can choose, because the closed door slides to the left and the grid door to the right

The closed door is the part that has been cut out of the tank.
The grid door is made with perforated metal
Both doors have an extra iron closing edge,
The doors slide through pins that are welded on the back of the doors).
Handles
I made the handles from old fence parts. It was still a job to bend it properly ... I cut them like a tree to make enough room for a nice turn
Legs
The legs come from an old iron bistro table, I want to make these on the stove. The leg becomes difficult at the back, because there is also the smoke outlet ...
